I loved McKenzie in this book. She's a strong woman who's just living her brother's bucket list and trying to make it to the end of the list. Enter Noah - Noah is a total oxymoron. He's gentle, kind and wants to protect McKenzie but he's also working for the cartel that bought illegal guns from her brother. Everything you think you know in this book, you really don't. I fell in love with Walker and am so glad he's getting his own book. You're probably asking yourself "So why the 4 stars?" Good question...it's because of some things that I personally didn't like. The sex in this book was just OTT and I'm talking OMG...if I'm being sought after by people trying to kill me - do you think I'm gonna stop to have hot sex everywhere??? No, I'm gonna get the heck out of dodge and run. Second thing I didn't like is that at 97 percent the book is still not resolved and you're still thinking is this going to end okay and then there's a rushed 2 pages of still no resolution?! WTF!! Which goes into Walker's book...Oookay, that's perfectly fine but at least have the hero and heroine find their happily ever after and say I love you. That's what had the bee in my bonnet but otherwise I liked the storyline. I'll be reading the next one to find out if McKenzie's brother was who he portrayed himself as. Read the book if you want some suspense and intrigue.
